The usual route of the arrival of Los Reyes in Puerto de la Cruz has been changed this year. The Mayor of the town, Dolores Padrón, announced that the Kings will not depart from Castillo San Felipe as usual, but from the harbour, having arrived by sea. From there, their procession will go via the plaza del Charco to the plaza de Europa, where they will enact the Bethlehem adoration of the infant Jesus.
The parade will take place on Friday 2 January 2009.
