Two people have been injured after falling 3 metres down a barranco in the tourist part of Fañabe. Emergency services were called out around 5.20 this morning, though when they arrived one of the pair, a woman, had been able to get herself out unaided. Bomberos were needed, however, to rescue the other person, a 25-year-old man, who had knee injuries. Both were taken to a hospital in the south.
