lo and behold, i saw my first hedgehog today in tenerife ,sadly t,was not alive,for there it was, a sorry sight to be espied, flattened on the roadside, in "el tanque" near the camel parque, but life goes on as we soon found above in the sky the swift,s abound, in their dozens, near chio, fly here, there, to and fro, many sights for all to see what a lovely place for us to be, roll on the summer

Decretada la prealerta por vientos fuertes en Canarias
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, EFE La Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEM) ha decretado la situación de prealerta en Canarias por vientos fuertes que afectará a las islas de Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, zonas altas de Gran Canaria y Tenerife, y cumbres de La Palma.
Se prevén rachas de viento de hasta 75 kilómetros por hora en cumbres de La Palma, La Orotava y Vilaflor (Tenerife), cumbres y medianías del norte de Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura y Lanzarote.
La situación de prealerta, correspondiente al nivel amarillo, es de riesgo bajo y se mantiene hasta el mediodía de mañana en ambas provincias canarias.
