It was very windy last night around 4am, but today is no worse than breezy. They say it's worse on the coasts and on the peaks though. Can anyone on the north or east coast say what it's like? Pelinor? Sharon? Synch?
Welcome back, Caz
Well it's not bad cannot see the peaks on the mountains. There are showers
of rain not to heavy. The wind isn't bad still gusting but it was much worse last week. And the sea is still like a mill pond. And the sun is quite warm.

The Canarian Government has put all the islands on alert from 9pm this evening for torrential rain, possibly 20 litres per square metre per hour, and winds reaching 85 kms an hour.
The public are advised to stay away from north and east coasts where swells of 3 to 4 metres are expected. Winds, however, will be worst in the south and west of the islands.
Particular alerts for Tenerife centre on Vilaflor and La Orotava.
The alert for strong winds is in place until midday on Sunday. The alert for heavy rain is at present only in place until 8am tomorrow morning.
Canarias24Horas AEMET
The alert is extended through to the end of tomorrow now. AEMET

The wind seems to have died down almost completely now in Vera de Erques. The press is reporting various rockfalls, and trees and electricity posts down, but no personal damage.
