Re: Alert for strong winds and torrential rain from Friday 31 October to Sunday 2 November for all the Canaries
We had our dinner outside at 8 pm. It was so still and peaceful you could have heard a pin drop (only you couldn't because my children were being too loud)

The alert is officially lifted now, though they're warning that there will be occasional gusts up to 75 kph in Tenerife. No rain here, though it was bloody windy yesterday.

Now they're gone, it'll be fine for weeks ... or at least it should be! These "temporals" as they call them last a few days and they're typical of Autumn. It's back to full sun today, total normality. In Vera right now it's 24º, probably quite a bit warmer on the coast too.
