Or maybe different in different areas. That wouldn't surprise me, because there are different companies ...

Me and my husband are out at work all day, so are normally only in after 6.30pm. We cook at home once a day and do the laundry on Thursday or Friday when we're off. We don't leave anything on during the day, or on standby, so it's unexplainable.

I live in a 2 bed apartment, with 1 bathroom and my electric boiler is only 50 litres, which is used for a shower each a day. My neighbour pays half of what we pay for a 3 bed, 2 bath place and 4 people living in it.

Does anyone else pay this much? The office said that an engineer would come each time i've asked, but they never do, a standard letter comes through the post saying that according to their computer the bills seem correct! How does their computer know if someones tapping in to my electric.
Switch the electric off and see if you switch anyone else off.

Having a few problems myself, but we rent ! I only get the bills and have to pay whatever the bill says. It's been over 110 euros twice now ( monthly only). I asked my landlady to look into it but she says that the company only say get your own electrician to look at it. Is there anything I can do ? Prior to us living there my mum did and paid no where near what we do.

Do you have a bill there? Look somewhere top left, where it should say Consumo electrico, and underneath it should give the meter readings at start and finish of the period. It is important to note whether this says Lectura estimado (estimated reading) or Lectura real (actual reading). If the readings are all estimated, the bills will be adjusted later. Post here what you find for one bill.
