I am looking into car hire for my visit to Tenerife

On my visit this time i am also looking into car hire.
I might go to town a little and see if i can get a convertable ... something

Do you think i would be able to get one for a reasionable price? and can you get cars with sat nav as i will get so lost otherwise

Now this is going to sound very dappy but ... do they work in the same way there as in putting in the postcode etc

When you arrive at Tenerife South airport, there are at least 3 car hire desks. You will be able to drive from the airport if you want.

Don't wait until you arrive in Tenerife to book, you will be charged the top rate. (If you wan't a convertible you will need to book in advance anyway to make sure that they have one). A convertible will probably cost you around £150 a week (Golf or Beetle).
I have never heard of the hire companies renting sat navs though.

I always use Autoreisen, pick up at the airport, they may not be the newest cars available at the airport but they are without doubt the most reasonably priced and there is no additional insurances.

We used to book car hire through www.travelsupermarket.com they compare prices with other car rental companies, (also good for flights) and found them to be slightly cheaper than booking direct with the car hire company itself, another company to try holiday autos,

Often there is a variation in their prices so worth checking both.
