Not sure about baby food, but there is an Iceland as First Lady Supertonic says, in Los Cristianos, just along from the Hotel Arona Gran, opposite Paloma Beach, the same road as the Sunday Market ......... hope this helps
If these are not already in the business section, would you also put these companies in there, it helps everyone then, thank you.

I'm coming over to Tenerife in September and it's our first holiday with a newborn baby.

I've got a few questions and if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated.......

I'm using Cow and Gate "Comfort" formula for newborns, does anyone know if you can buy it there?

Presuming you can get Pampers?

Lastly, I'm staying at Cristian Sur and I'm sure they won't have a microwave in the apartment but does anyone know where I can hire a microwave for 2 weeks?

Thank you so much for any answers, I used to live in Tenerife myself a few years ago
Hi there if you booked privatly the apartment will have a micro all ours have in Cristian Sur the supermarket sells British products not sure about the milk Its a while since ive been in a reception apartment the funny thing is that from time to time they rent a private one from my management company and remove everything and make it a basic apartment. ill ask for you tommorrow if tsms hire micro they do cots ect and let you know .David

You can buy pampers in Iceland but they are mega expensive. You would be better off visiting the Mercadona in Las Americas and buying Dodot's. They are the Spanish version of Pampers and are about the same price as what you would pay in the UK. I only know this as when my then baby grand daughter visited I bought this brand and they had the same pattern around the top as Pampers. As for the formula - Iceland does sell it, but I am not sure if they sell the one you want and if they do it is ridiculously priced. Buy the Dodots here, but bring the formula with you.

OMG what a friendly and helpful forum!

Thank you so much to everyone for the replies, it's a huge help.

As for the fella that said about heating bottles up in hot water, I agree but it's not for that I want a microwave for, I need it to sterlise the bottles

I forgot about Iceland and Mercadona, fab!

Off on a tangent but I remember when Iceland first got crumpets (the toasted variety ) and everyone got really excited lol

Thanks again and thank you for my welcome
