Cool Hello and can anyone help me with a few baby related questions for my hols?

Hi there, I'm new to this forum so hello everyone

I'm coming over to Tenerife in September and it's our first holiday with a newborn baby.

I've got a few questions and if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated.......

I'm using Cow and Gate "Comfort" formula for newborns, does anyone know if you can buy it there?

Presuming you can get Pampers?

Lastly, I'm staying at Cristian Sur and I'm sure they won't have a microwave in the apartment but does anyone know where I can hire a microwave for 2 weeks?

Thank you so much for any answers, I used to live in Tenerife myself a few years ago

Hi and welcome to th forum. Enjoy....

As for baby food, I always found as a father that when I ran out of formula milk, a pot noodle would suffice for my daughter. I found them much more convenient for me because i only had to get out of my armchair for 2 mins to boil a kettle and she was born during a world cup.

Just a thought.......

Hi and welcome to our fantastic forum.

There is an Iceland in Los Christianos somewhere (other members will jump in with the exact location) they sell most things you can buy in the UK. There are also places you can hire electrical goods from, I know of one in Torviscas if no-one else jumps in with a nearer location pm me and I'll give you the details.

Hi Girl And The City, there is a hire shop that is owned by friends of mine, Alan and Angie, called Mr Cool - I think they should be able to help you with a Microwave.

Not sure about baby food, but there is an Iceland as First Lady Supertonic says, in Los Cristianos, just along from the Hotel Arona Gran, opposite Paloma Beach, the same road as the Sunday Market ......... hope this helps

Hello from me..it sounds to me as if it would be easier to leave the baby at home, not on its own though better get someone to look after it. As for the micro wave you know you can boil a pot of water and stick the bottle in it with the same effect ie it heats it up.....

I was wondering what people did before the advent of the microwave
