 Reasons to holiday in Tenerife I was thinking, after learning of the forthcoming "Tonight with Trevor McDonald" feature, and @treble99 saying he'll be holidaying in the US this year; flight prices may be a reason for UK holidaymakers not to come to Tenerife, but there are so many better reasons for UK holidaymakers to come here, rather than other holiday destinations. Let's list a few. (how many can we think of - perhaps the finished list could be a sticky) I'll start the ball rolling with 10... 1 ) All-year round golf (obviously my first item  )2 ) English widely spoken in bars, hotels & restaurants 3 ) Part of the EU, so familiar laws 4 ) Only 4 hours travel time direct from the UK 5 ) No visa required to get here 6 ) Health care covered by free European health card 7 ) Normally not too hot or too cold whatever time of year 8 ) Very safe island - low crime rate and quick-to-respond police 9 ) Tenerife is a clean & tidy island, with good tourist facilities 10 ) Pretty well 100% safe from terrorist attacks .. come on, folks - add to the list!

 Good Infrastructure..roads.. buses.. taxis.. etc. Generaly fairly easy to get around and visit places.

| Your British phone will work here.... You can find food your kids will eat...... and Beer you can enjoy at reasonable prices .... Hire a car, petrol is cheap as is car hire.... Golf is expensive but you can play all year round

| Has anyone mentioned the ALL YEAR ROUND tropical climate?
__________________ Do you need anything translating into Spanish? Documents, help with obtaining N.I.E numbers, social security numbers, tax advice, or the legalities when buying your dream property?. Well good luck but dont pm me, I aint got a clue on these matters........ |
