Default Baby seats in taxis

Could anyone help me please? My daughter is thinking of visiting Tenerife in January when her baby will then be seven months old and she wondered if anyone could suggest a taxi company that provides child seats in their cars. I think that she would be very loathe to travel without a safety seat for him whether they are compulsory or not in Tenerife.

Wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this too, I am visiting in November and my daughter will be 8 months!

Hi,
I wonder is there a single car seat that will suit or is adjustable for babies of different sizes/ages and up to what age do we need a child seat legally in tenerife. Thanks.
Regards Mike.

the law for baby seats in spain are that children aged 3 or under must use a suitable child seat, and children up to 12 should use one if available. if not they can use adult seats...spanish taxis do not carry car seats for babies, but they will allow you to carry the infant on your lap if you sit in the back and wear a seat belt. if particularly want a car with a child seat then you will need to book a private transfer. pm our very own member el1369 for details on this one.
