My first ever visit to Tenerife next month - a few questions please.
First of all is Malibu Park a dump? Have read some not very nice reviews, but also some good ones.
Is the Barrenco Inferno walk suitable for a fit 7 year old who's used to walking? She did an all day walk in the Lake District last month which included 3x 3000ft peaks.
Is it worth going to the Aqua Park with a 7yo who doesn't like fast water slides where you get dunked under the water at the end? Are there gentler ones there?
If anyone paraglides and can recommend good launch sites would also be interested as we're coming with our paragliders.
Hi there cant comment on malibu park, but the aqua parks a big yes you will both love it,im sure. There are lots of things to do there just make sure you take plenty of sun cream,as the water in the pools are salt water. Antony

Hi Binka,
Welcome to the forum, the aqua park is a big yes she will love it, there is now also open Siam park too, which has a beach ! There is a thread about it & you can see their web site too, use the search button & type in Siam Park.
You will all enjoy the walk too.
As for the paragliding, I will wave as you go over my house I don't know the actual launch sites but someone will.
Enjoy your holiday

Be careful though Binka. Princess lives in the penthouse of an 84 storey apartment block next to the beach! If Princess is waving to you, your are heading out to see.

Those two are connected in a way. Firstly, the Barranco del Inferno is almost certainly fine for your 7-year-old. Book the walk at the kiosk nearby at least one day in advance, because daily numbers are restricted. You will need a minimum of good walking boots and a container of water. It takes 2-3 hours, and costs 3€.
Secondly, a good paraglide take-off point is at Ifonche, at the head of the Barranco del Inferno, at about 3000ft above sea level. The glide goes down the barrancho to finish near Torviscas villiage, and takes around 1/2 hour. If you go to Ifonche for a recce, there are usually paragliders there on suitable afternoons, when the onshore breeze has developed for the day.
