Next junction up from the airport. Fabulous for water sports (because it is quite windy from time to time).

El Medano has lots of character and characters - gorgeous beach, lots of lovely eateries right by the sea and very family orientated.

Oh, and my optician is there who is fabulous!

At times... very windy... which is perfect for our member Warmwind here who loves to windsurf.

You do see planes and hear them sometimes.

Yep they have a Saturday market selling second hand books, items of clothing, jewellery bits, quirky stuff. Worth a visit!

As you turn off TF1 into El Medano the agricultural market is on the left. Open Saturdays (can't remember what other days) it is a hustly, bustly place with lots of lovely, freshly picked fruit, veg and local produce. Again worth a visit!

I bought a house here and I LOVE it!!! Not El Medano town, but more La Mareta / La Tejita area, adjacent to the runway so you can see them taking off and landing if thats your thing. Fabulous beach (Tejita), and you can go commando (saw your earlier thread) if that floats your boat, though its not my thing TBH.
