One of my favourite places on the Island is Puerto de la Cruz. It is so beautiful with it's wonderful scenery and big waves. It's very laid back and there are some wonderful bars/resturants there. I love going at Christmas time as it is full of colourful lights and really worth a visit.

Depends what you want. We always stay in Golf del Sur but there's no beach to talk of in the resort and it's much quieter than Las Americas and Los Christianos and very little for teenagers to do. The big natural beach at El Medano is only a short drive away though.

Puerto is lovely as has been metioned before and how about Los Gigantes/ Puerto de Santiago. Sunning scenery and in the south (just )

I also love Garachico and whenever anyone visits us we always take them there. It's quite scary on the Masca road though if you have never driven here before, so better going on the other route if you don't like heights.

We're the same and have been wondering about trying out other areas. May try Torviscas at some point.
