IIRC Kittys bar was closed because the owner returned to the UK for health reasons shortly after the bar opened sadly.

We have just returned from a 2 week visit and spent 2 nights in the Mowtown Magic bar just down the road which was full on both occassions.

We also frequented several restaurants in different resorts.

Our conclusions are that given the time of year the actual numbers seemed to be on a par with other years by the spending patterns have changed.

We noticed particularly in restaurants that as whereas in recent years 4 people could have a decent meal and a few drinks for about 60 euros ..that this year it was costong about that amount for 2 people.

Talking to other visitors the results are that whilst they spend roughly the same amount over their holidays they are now forced to eat out less and to eat in the apartment more often.

I think this is the same in bars people make less visits cos the money doesnt go as far...or they are more careful and nurse the drinks longer.

The net results seem to give a picture viewed fron these establishments is that visitors are down in number but perhaps in reality it is the weakness of the pound ATM that is causing the problems.
