with most businesses wages amount to biggest outgoing. Over here with skyhigh rents, most businesses have to cut back on wages just to get by.

Its a management problem they see staff as disposable.... but that will change in time...... and the time is nearer than they think,,,

I have run big company's and it cannot be done without good staff which need to be paid.... otherwise you rely on the whims of your customers

you are right with this one, SOG, on the other hand with such a turnover of customers like here on tenerife a lot of employers tend to see the masses and don't necessarily give a darn about whims

Staff are an asset ....not a liability as most employers seem to think..

My point being I never want to hear from employers that say they cant find good staff as they all seem to do here. They dont want to pay the wages , no sympathy for them. Its the workers that I feel sorry for.

any good business person should/would look on their staff as an asset, big thing in tenerife is easy come- easy go attitude of the employers. they just take people on and **** on them and do the same to the next employee ..... (thanks toma, cant post thank you on your post ?)
