Default holidays paid or unpaid

my wife has been working with a contract for nine months what her holiday entitlement if there is any at all ?i know in the uk and i beleive in the eec that these entiltilments are a workers right me not bad with employment law back home but hopeless here though trying to pick it up her contract is only for ten hours a week but i know that a part time worker in asda(for instance) is entitled to the same holidays as a full time enployee thanks in advance pablo

I think its 30 days pro rata but someone with more knowledge will soon pick the thread up

i think the norm is 7 days holidays per 3 months. it should say in your wife's contract, though, because some employers allow less and some more. and if it's part-time, it might be different, too. in any case, if she's on a contract, her holidays should be paid
